RENEW HEARTS - RESTORE RELATIONSHIPS - REBUILD LIVES
Serving Those Who Served
Since 2010, HOPE and HEALING at HILLENGLADE (HHH) - an outreach of Jennifer O’Neill Ministries, Inc. (est. 2004) - has served thousands through free Equine-Assisted Programs for Veterans, Active Duty Service Members, First Responders and their families. We also welcome hospital groups, children with autism, and the public through paid sessions, with all proceeds directly supporting those who served.
The Chapel on the Hill
The Chapel on the Hill at HOPE and HEALING at HILLENGLADE is a peaceful, nondenominational space available for Bible studies, gatherings, and private events. The Chapel can also be rented for special occasions, with all proceeds directly supporting HHH’s programs for veterans, first responders, and families.
Our Horses and “Donkeyettes”
At HOPE and HEALING at HILLENGLADE, the horses and “donkeyettes” are more than animals - they are partners in our mission. Many were rescued, retired, or donated, and each has been given a second purpose as part of our healing team. Through their presence and connection, participants learn trust, confidence, and compassion, while we commit to the lifelong care of every horse and donkey that calls Hillenglade home.
Certification at HHH
Our Certification Programs train individuals, churches, and community groups to bring HOPE and HEALING at HILLENGLADE’S proven equine-assisted model into their own communities.
Participants learn safe horse handling, trauma-informed care, and program facilitation to serve veterans, first responders, and people in their communities who need hope and renewal - spreading our hoofprint far beyond Hillenglade.

A Message from our Founder - Jennifer O’Neill
As we all know, especially since Covid, stress-related issues are running rampant among the general population. The truth is, very few in the private sector have side-stepped the on-going destructive aspects of isolation, depression, loss, confusion, anger, failing communication skills and TRUST. Exhibited by our Program’s successes over the years, our HHH Certified Curriculum has armed our graduates with the tools necessary to succeed in all aspects of life… It’s time to tackle core issues that hold us back from achieving our BEST – not only for ourselves, but for our loved ones as well. Post-Traumatic Stress is NOT exclusive to Military and First Responders. At such a time as this, most of us are grappling with some personal and/or pragmatic questions, while trying to establish solid footing and morals in a light of society’s “New Normal.”
WE CAN HELP!
WELCOME TO HILLENGLADE!!!
xoxo Grace and Peace, Jen
God Bless!
Douglas Corner
The original Douglas Corner, one of Nashville’s most iconic listening rooms, closed during COVID. Its founder has now brought the spirit of that legendary venue to HOPE and HEALING at HILLENGLADE through Douglas Corner Country Place.
Equipped with full live sound, video, and recording capabilities, this unique space is ideal for music therapy sessions, fundraisers, private events, live shows, and community gatherings. All rental proceeds directly support the nonprofit mission of HOPE and HEALING at HILLENGLADE - providing Equine-Assisted Programs and healing experiences to those in need.
A Lasting Partnership in Hope
We are honored by our ongoing partnership with the Wilbur C. and Betty Lee Foundation, whose steadfast support has helped HOPE and HEALING at HILLENGLADE grow and serve more families through the years. Their belief in our mission continues to inspire us.
Today, we are especially grateful for their extraordinary pledge to match up to $300,000 over the next three years. This remarkable commitment ensures that every gift goes twice as far in bringing healing and restoration to veterans, first responders, and families in need.
Your support matters!
Welcome!
