HOPE and HEALING at HILLENGLADE (HHH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to serving our brave Military men and women, Veterans, First Responders, and their families who are navigating the ravages of war. Our HHH Equine-Assisted Programs are provided FREE OF CHARGE to those who serve our great country. We support resilience, emotional regulation, reconnection, and overall well-being. We are also open to the public, whose donations help make our free programs possible. In addition, we offer HHH Certifications, host Glitter Girls Gatherings, sponsor the HARVEST PROGRAM (live-in), and provide music and art therapy to foster connection, growth, and community.

Serving Those Who Served Us
Since 2010, HOPE and HEALING at HILLENGLADE (HHH) - an outreach of Jennifer O’Neill Ministries, Inc. (est. 2004) - has served thousands through free Equine-Assisted Programs for Veterans, Active Duty Service Members, First Responders and their families.
Our Chapel on the Hill
The Chapel on the Hill at HOPE and HEALING at HILLENGLADE is a peaceful, nondenominational space available for Bible studies and ministry gatherings.
Our Horses and “Donkeyettes”
At HOPE and HEALING at HILLENGLADE, the horses and “donkeyettes” are partners in our Mission. They were rescued, retired, or donated, and each has been given a second purpose in life as part of our HHH healing team. Through their presence and connection, participants learn trust, confidence and compassion, while we commit to the lifelong care of every horse and donkey that calls Hillenglade home.
Certification Program
Our Certification Program train individuals, horse owners across the country, and community groups by way of HOPE and HEALING at HILLENGLADE’S proven equine-assisted model and curriculum. Participants learn safe horse handling, trauma-informed care, and program facilitation as “Leaders” and “Handlers” to serve all in need of hope and renewal - spreading our “hoofprint” far beyond Hillenglade.
“As we all know, especially since Covid, stress-related issues are running rampant among the general population in addition to our Brave Warriors. The truth is, very few in the private sector have side-stepped the on-going destructive aspects of isolation, depression, loss, confusion, anger, failing communication skills and TRUST. Exhibited by our Program’s successes over the years, our HHH Certified Curriculum has armed our graduates with the tools necessary to succeed in all aspects of life… It’s time to tackle core issues that hold us back from achieving our BEST – not only for ourselves, but for our loved ones as well. Post-Traumatic Stress is NOT exclusive to Military and First Responders. At such a time as this, most of us are grappling with some personal and/or pragmatic questions, while trying to establish solid footing and morals in a light of society’s New Normal.”

At HHH Renewal Center, our therapeutic services have expanded to include the Creative Arts as part of our approach to healing. In addition to equine-assisted therapy, we now offer therapeutic experiences through acting, music and reflective, creative writing.
This exciting growth reflects the strength of our team, which now includes experienced professionals who have dedicated decades to careers in the arts. Their expertise, combined with our passion for serving others, allows us to offer innovative, evidence-informed opportunities for personal growth, emotional wellness, and self-expression.
While our programs continue to evolve, our horses remain at the heart of everything we do. Their unique ability to foster trust, connection, and healing is woven into every therapeutic experience we provide.
At HHH, we believe that meaningful healing happens through connection, creativity, and compassion. By bringing together the wisdom of our equine partners with the transformative power of the arts, we create a truly unique environment where individuals can grow, heal, and thrive.
